- location: celaya- the mrp controller will play an important role in managing of supply chain for production materials with suppliers and intercompany for north america plants.
responsibilities include monitoring / checking sap transactions, creating schedules for suppliers based on customer requirements.
*your role & responsibilities*:
- sap transactions required to fulfill responsibilities & analysis with minimum frequency of exercise.
- creating schedules for all suppliers in accordance with the production plan and customers' needs - 100% of deliveries securing the production plan without additional transport costs
- informing plant production planning about potential bottlenecks and taking actions to secure continuity of production.
- teamwork between mrp controller and plant is highly required.
- update of minimum stock level kept by vendor for mahle at logit - once per quarter; in case of new launch or eop - according to needs.
- managing transit materials file on the end of each month - once per month
- creating & updating logistic protocols - update minimum once per year for each vendor till end of q1
- solving daily problems in gr process (missing asn, incorrect packaging, drop goods), control of un-booked materials.
- minimum once per year visit plant (especially warehouse) (with biggest amount of materials/vendors) and discuss open topics
- participate and provide project support for global projects.
- travel to mahle locations in north america for support upon request
- other duties may be assigned
*your skills & strengths*:
- graduated higher education in the field of exact sciences, economics, engineering, logistics management or business administration with supply chain management.
- fluent knowledge of english and spanish (in speech and writing).
- proffesional ms excel skills.
- sap - knowledge of mm-proc, mm-pur, wm modules.
- developed analytical skills.
