Manufacturing engineer
the manufacturing engineer is responsible for providing manufacturing technical direction and assistance for both new and existing products, with a focus on cnc management. This includes process design and tooling requirements for manufacturing operations. The role supports continuous improvement in production, utilizing the business system framework and the continuous improvement framework.
responsibilities:
* manage cnc equipment and machining production.
* lead projects involving cross-functional teams aimed at plant strategy growth.
* ensure project scope, schedule, resources, and budgets are met according to the pm plan.
* determine fixtures, attachments, and tools needed for new programs.
* collaborate with quality engineers and supervisors to ensure project specifications align with product requirements and modify designs as necessary.
* guide manufacturing technicians in modifying machine speed, tooling, and cutting styles to ensure precision.
* oversee cutting processes, monitor job plans, and address mistakes promptly.
* supervise machine parameters and controls.
* review and interpret cutting plans, input them into control systems, and make adjustments as needed.
* inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
* develop maintenance schedules to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.

* proficient in using tools and maintaining machinery.
* familiar with cnc programming and interpretation.
* experienced in leading new projects.
* fluent in english.
* strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* committed to precision and quality standards.
* knowledge of g-code / m-code.
* understanding of cnc consumables and tools.
* knowledge of gd&t.
experience:
* 3 to 5 years in manufacturing engineering.
* at least 3 years managing cnc machines.
* experience with horizontal lathe operations (desirable okuma).
* experience with grinder cnc machines (desirable okuma).
* proficiency in numerical control language.
