It provides strategic support for decision-making related to administrative expenses by collaborating with internal clients, presenting ideas clearly and concretely, and demonstrating a deep understanding of the business. Key responsibilities: deliver timely and accurate financial information – actuals, forecasts, business plans. Act as a business partner with the operations departments and other entities & regions to ensure alignment on financial goals, strategies, and deadlines. Accounting acumen – accrual & reclassifications posting and management; account/cost center-level reviews; p&l/balance sheet knowledge. Financial acumen – bridges, variation, trends, and analysis generation & presentation; active participation in budget and forecast processes. Ensure that the company doa is being followed – purchase requisition approvals. Intercompany processes knowledge. Capex processes knowledge. Enforce internal control and best practices – help as a point of reference for other parties on the best courses of action. Process improvement – analyze the current processes in place and identify how as a team we can improve and become more efficient. Key skills: strong financial analysis and accounting knowledge. Advanced skills in microsoft office (excel, powerpoint, word, etc.). Other knowledge, skills, and abilities: strong knowledge of sap (accruals, reports). Automation-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency. Ability to challenge the status quo. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Self-driven and autonomous; able to work independently, including remotely. In-depth understanding of financial accounting processes and financial statements.
