Summary – basic function of the role
this position will be responsible for significant contribution to driving the financial results of the business through financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, financial reporting and continuous improvement of processes.
job duties and responsibilities
* lead the fp&a processes: budgeting, planning, forecasting, variance analysis
* lead plant level metric preparation and consolidation
* manage the standard cost process across brands and erp systems for the plant
* assist in preparation and analysis of consolidated business results for mexican and us gaap in hyperion, oracle, etc.
* assist with internal and external audit support
* drive business improvement through internal controls, and continuous improvement processes
* provide key financial and business support/analysis to plant leadership and other functions
* using data to identify areas of opportunity to improve business performance throughout the organization
* other duties as deemed necessary

* experience with financial analysis tools (power bi and erp systems such as oracle, sap, etc.)
* hyperion and oracle experience highly desirable
* effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of a diverse and global organization
* self-directed with a focus on process/continuous improvement.

* candidate must be bilingual in spanish and english
education and experience
* bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; mba and/or cpa preferred
* 7+ years’ progressive financial experience in a manufacturing maquiladora environment with demonstrated record of performance in both financial and operational aspects
* knowledge of nif and us gaap, mexican tax regulations, maquiladora requirements and international trade programs
