we are searching for the best talent for *supply planning regional coordinator*.
*purpose*: this role is responsible for establishing the supply planning framework for latam orthopaedics affiliates in latam in close collaboration with local supply planners and global supply chain functions alongside individual improvement projects and initiatives.
*you will be responsible for*:
- establish disciplined and robust supply planning process for orthopaedices latam:
a) ensure apo-snp is consistently used for supply planning for mx, co, cl, br and ar supported by strong governance; and
b) ensure process is in place to ensure rop ´s are properly and timely updated to reflect demand events.
process should be aligned to ibp
- ensure supply chain continuity of mdr (medical device regulation) project deployment for orthopaedics latam (keep the lights on):
a) be the latam supply chain representative on the global and cross-functional mdr forums;
b) ensure build-up signals are continuously recalculated and propagated upstream the supply chain; and
c) keep a proactive attitude on risk management and mitigation
- supply planning sme:
a) be the latam orthopaedics sme for supply planning (representative on global coe ´s);
b) be the focal point for ad-hoc supply planning topics that require regional intervention, list of non-exhaustive examples: intra-regional re-balance analysis; service risk mitigation; slob risk mitigation; lead-time analysis; act as interface between regional pmr and local supply planners to ensure supply implications from pipo models are evaluated;
c) be the focal point to local supply planners on process and system queries; and
d) be the focal point to regional capabilities on supply planning system and process topics
- lead the process of nrp (net requirements planning) and variance analysis for orhopadiecs latam:
a) ensure process roll-out to different orthopaedics value streams;
b) conduct analysis, corrective actions and presentation to global supply chain functions on variances (month-over-month and actual versus plan)
*qualifications / requirements*:
- bachelor degree: logistics, operations, engineering, business, or equivalent is required.
- supply chain certification in apics cpim or apics cscp is desirable.
- minimum 5 years related experience desirable.
- experience with erp (sap/apo snp) & advanced planning systems is preferred.
- advanced proficiency in english and spanish; portuguese is a plus.
- good understanding of the drp (distribution requirement planning) and supply chain fundamentals
- leverages deep familiarity with distribution requirements planning (drp) concepts and system enablers to support improvements against established kpis
- strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- uses in-depth knowledge of analysis and problem solving techniques.
- ability to share knowledge and personal experience with peers.
- ability to collaborate with internal parties to ensure smooth issue resolution.
- ability to target their verbal and written communications as appropriate for the audience and make presentations to a small to medium sized audience.
