We are looking for a high motivated bilingual assistant (mandarin chinesse) to join our team at cdmx.objective provide comprehensive support to the service engineers assigned by mazak china in mexico, acting as a technical–administrative–linguistic liaison between local customers, chinese engineers and mazak china. Responsibilities: linguistic support (translator) · act as a technical interpreter (chinese–spanish and vice versa) during service visits, installation, and commissioning · translate technical documentation, service reports, and operational communications, etc. · facilitate effective communication between chinese engineers and mexican clients. · support the interpretation of manuals, diagrams, technical specifications, service protocols, etc. Operational support · accompany service engineers on-site during all customer visits. · coordinate local logistics: transportation, lodging, domestic flights, plant access. · ensure compliance with customer safety protocols. · serve as the local point of contact during emergencies or operational contingencies. Administrative support · manage hotel and transportation reservations. · assist with immigration or administrative procedures when applicable. · support the management of service orders and contractual documentation. Customer relations · maintain professional communication with the customer's technical representatives. · ensure clarity regarding the scope of service. · identify opportunities for improvement or additional needs. · contribute to strengthening the perception of specialized support for equipment manufactured in china. Compliance / governance · support and ensure that engineers' activities comply with company policies, local laws, and regulations. Language: spanish – native- c1 minimum (advanced) chinese (mandarin): hsk5 – equivalent c1 (advanced) hard skills – competences · fluency in mandarin chinese and spanish (spoken and written); english proficiency is desirable. · proven ability to perform technical interpretation in industrial environments. · ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and service documentation. · strong coordination skills for travel logistics, scheduling, and operational planning. · experience managing travel arrangements, including hotel reservations, ground transportation, domestic flights, and access coordination with industrial facilities. · familiarity with visa procedures, immigration processes, and administrative requirements for foreign personnel (preferred). · basic knowledge of mexican labor regulations and workplace compliance requirements. · valid driver's license and ability to drive safely (mandatory). · high availability and willingness to travel frequently within mexico.
