job purpose
the cash application lead plays a fundamental role in the new iops model within the credit & collection team. The role requires results orientation, challenge to the status quo, and leadership to develop and magnify the power of people. The candidate should have strong change management skills, negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of financial processes related to credit & collection operations. Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential to ensure process continuity.
main responsibilities
* work closely with the operational third party supplier, supporting as market representative to ensure kpis align with global targets related to the cash application process.
* participate proactively in weekly and monthly operational meetings.
* escalate complex issues with customers, tax, audit, and business partners in line with the global model.
* escalate risks promptly during the month and provide solutions to avoid impact on the close month.
* maintain the b2c customer experience structure with a high level of service.
* create cash application strategies to improve timely cash application.
* conduct monthly reporting activities for internal leads and regional team.
* escalate issues related to the credit management process.
* contribute to continuous improvement by developing breakthrough solutions based on analytics provided by the operational team.
experiences & qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is advantageous.
* energetic, highly motivated, with an inquisitive mind and passion for excellence and innovation to unlock value opportunities.
* excellent negotiation and communication skills with ability to present ideas and influence others.
