play a key role in driving delivery excellence across global digital initiatives.
key responsibilities
* lead one or two agile scrum teams delivering high-quality solutions in complex, global environments
* act as a servant leader, promoting agile principles, team accountability, and continuous improvement
* facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
* partner with product owners to refine backlogs, prioritize work, and ensure delivery flow
* remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and protect teams from external disruptions
* track and communicate delivery metrics including velocity, cycle time, and quality outcomes
* manage end-to-end project delivery using waterfall or hybrid methodologies where required
* establish governance including risk management, stakeholder alignment, and decision forums
* lead release planning, cutover, change management, and transition to operations
* act as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication on progress, risks, and issues
essential requirements
* bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent practical experience
* agile or scrum certification such as certified scrum master or professional scrum master
* minimum five years of experience in information technology project delivery within complex global environments
* five years of experience as a scrum master coaching teams to high performance and agile maturity
* strong experience delivering projects using waterfall or hybrid methodologies including governance and risk management
* excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across global and cross-functional teams
desirable requirements
* experience working in pharmaceutical or life science environments
* familiarity with agile and project management tools such as jira, microsoft project, and servicenow
