5+ years of experience in domestic and international shipping logistics
advanced english proficiency

job purpose
you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the comprehensive logistics of grain transportation and storage. This includes the efficient management of port and regional shipments, strategic negotiation of transportation rates, processing and obtaining necessary documentation, and effective oversight of warehouse controls. You will maintain fluid and direct communication with commercial, billing, credit & collections, and accounts payable teams, as well as with suppliers, clients, and authorities. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely, accurate, and fully aligned logistics operations with the company's strategies and the goals of all involved departments.
key responsibilities
* transportation coordination: manage grain transportation logistics (truck and rail), ensuring punctuality, proper documentation, and efficiency.
* warehouse management: oversee storage operations, including fumigation, inventory control, inbound/outbound movements, balances, and deposit certificates.
* stakeholder communication: maintain contact with phytosanitary authorities, internal/external clients, and service providers.
* supplier administration: manage service provider onboarding, rate negotiation, invoice validation, and processing of logistics service payments.
* reporting & support: generate shipment reports for clients and provide support to the billing department and balance reconciliation.
* compliance: ensure the execution of documented processes in accordance with compliance policies.
* perform other activities inherent to the department
