The Role:
Ensure that the plant’s quality systems comply with IATF 16949, VDA, and OEM customer-specific requirements, while developing and promoting a quality culture across all administrative and operational personnel through training and awareness programs to meet increasing customer expectations.
What you'll do:
- Ensure plant quality systems remain updated, compliant, and aligned with IATF 16949, VDA, and OEM customer requirements.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality training and awareness system for all plant personnel.
- Maintain updated quality system documentation at all workstations.
- Participate in the development of new projects related to quality.
- Review and approve changes to control plans prior to documentation.
- Manage the implementation of engineering changes.
- Drive the use of quality tools such as error proofing, lessons learned, layered process audits (LPA), quick response, standardized work, and FMEA (AMEF).
- Ensure metrology systems and statistical process control (SPC) are updated and functioning properly.
- Oversee plant chemical and electrical laboratories to ensure compliance with standards and delivery of expected results.
- Lead customer audits, certification audits, and customer complaint resolution with timely analysis and response.
- Monitor and report quality KPIs.
- Coordinate and manage customer visits to the manufacturing site.
- Lead the development and strengthening of the Quality department.
- Drive shop floor quality execution, ensuring control plan implementation and sustainability.
- Manage and improve warranty systems effectively.
- Implement and manage product safety systems, including high-impact issues such as recalls, claims, and risk mitigation.

What you'll bring:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Quality Manager in the automotive industry.
- Proven experience managing quality systems and production processes.
- Experience leading audits from certification bodies and OEM customers.
- Experience leading new project quality initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.

- IATF 16949 and VDA standards
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- FMEA (AMEF), PPAP
- OEM customer portals management
- Internal quality systems
- Six Sigma and quality tools
- Problem-solving methodologies
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- CAPS / 8D system
- Battery manufacturing processes (desirable)
- Customer service and support
Additional requirements:
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Management System procedures applicable to their area.
- Authority to report and stop activities that pose risks to employee safety, facility, or health.
- Participate in incident investigations related to occupational health and safety.
- Support and contribute to HPT system strategies.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001, including emergency response and environmental impact awareness.
- Authority to stop any activity that negatively impacts the environment.
