Manufacturing area manager job summary
as a manufacturing area manager, you will oversee the manufacture and/or assembly of quality parts in assigned production areas. Your primary responsibility is to ensure effective operation of the value stream(s) while maintaining cost efficiency.
key responsibilities:
* develop and implement efficient plans for materials, machines, and manpower to achieve manufacturing targets.
* establish and ensure alignment with corporate goals for assigned areas, including factory, logistics, maintenance, and quality integration.
* monitor and improve quality systems, order-to-delivery processes, and employee performance metrics.
* implement strategic initiatives such as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in a manufacturing-related field or equivalent experience.
* fluency in english language (70% written, read, and spoken).
* at least 7 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in supervisory roles.
* strong skills in planning, organizing, leadership, and personnel management.
