*responsibilities*:
- directs and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of enterprise-level analytics, business intelligence, and reporting requirements and needs of the organization.
- conduct hands on data profiling using advanced tools to understand the implementation of reporting across multiple core systems to develop requirements and drive interaction with end-user and technical development team
- includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
- directs the work of other business systems analysts supporting analytics, business intelligence, and reporting portfolio standardizing practices and processes across the organization
- devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.
- directing the team to analyze and communicate insights gained from data and then transforming those insights into actionable solutions are integral to this role.
- work collaboratively with process experts across global processes, smes, and business stakeholders during analysis, model development & test, and deployment phases to deliver quality analytical solutions.
- take responsibility for project activities including work estimation, planning, stakeholder management, and project quality.
- responsible for supporting and maintaining deployed models and reporting.
- work with stakeholders to define end-user support, metrics, slas and documented processes ensuring operations work according to stakeholder expectations.
- participate in budget planning process relative to the specific needs of the support teams
- drive transformational initiatives to assist with modernization end-user support to meet the expectations and demands of a modern workforce.
- supervisory responsibility:
- this position is responsible for 6-8 direct reports, each of whom supports non-related functional units.
*skills and requirements*:
- bachelor's degree in administration, industrial engineering, it, or related
- minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years managing in a shared services environment.
- an advanced degree, mba, is preferred.
- must have at least 3-years of experience in an international company/environment.
- strong project management abilities with proven experience in developing and executing project plans on time and on budget, navigating organizational change management, and communicating project changes and progress to teams, direct reports, and senior leaders.
- excellent process improvement skills. Able to demonstrate the use of systematic approaches to change including identifying, analyzing, and improving existing business processes while assuring effective people management.
- strong communicator with the ability to effectively influence, persuade and drive action using a collaborative management style and strong customer service orientation.
- effective team member with a demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
- excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills in english and spanish with considerable experience in public speaking and business presentations.
- 3+ years leadership experience including directly and/or indirectly managing personnel
- 5+ years of experience in managing large scale transformational projects required, involving it development (preferred)
- 5+ experience working with multiple business leaders to achieve project deliverables required
- ability to function in a multi-project environment with changing priorities
