about the client

about the role

this role is for a senior copywriter contractor who will lead content strategy and execution across multiple digital channels. You will manage copy for websites, landing pages, a/b tests, email campaigns, ads, and editorial content.

the position requires balancing brand voice, clarity, accessibility, and user-centered messaging with business goals. You’ll collaborate with designers, strategists, and developers is key to aligning content with kpis and client expectations.

responsibilities

* write and edit copy from concept to delivery across digital and print channels.
* own and execute copy for specific client accounts, maintaining brand voice and developing engaging messaging.
* craft a/b testing copy and use analytics to optimize user engagement and conversions.
* collaborate with designers, strategists, and developers to align messaging with goals.
* use personas, journeys, seo best practices, and analytics to inform messaging decisions.
* translate client brand standards into consistent messaging across channels.
* ensure copy is clear, inclusive, and accessible.
* present and justify copy concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* develop and execute copy strategies integrating user needs, business objectives, and creative solutions.
* lead content development for multiple campaigns.
* write and iterate copy informed by data and customer insights.
* ensure tone, style, and messaging remain consistent across channels.
* review and refine client brand voice, adapting to new directions when needed.

must have skills

* 5+ years of professional copywriting experience with a diverse portfolio.
* proven expertise in writing copy that drives conversions, engagement, and brand impact.
* strong command of brand voice development, content strategy, and storytelling techniques.
* experience writing and optimizing copy for websites, landing pages, email, and ads.
* knowledge of seo best practices.
* strong understanding of a/b testing.
* exceptional attention to detail, editing, and proofreading.
* excellent communication and presentation skills.
* ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships.
* ability to synthesize vague creative briefs into effective messaging.
* familiarity with tools like google docs, google slides, and project management platforms.

required skills:

* ux writing (4–6 years)
* technical writing (4–6 years)
* seo (2–3 years)
* a/b testing (2–3 years)

nice to have skills:

* mac device preferred

conditions

* 100% remote, primary timezone utc-4 with at least 6 hours overlap.
* contractor role – 12-month contract, renewable.
* full-time dedication (40 hours/week).
* byod required (mac preferred).
