location: nuevo leon and tamaulipas states

key performance areas

the account manager will provide ongoing support to our customer portfolio by consulting with customers to understand their needs and by implementing the full coromant offer. The account manager will be accountable for ensuring that the development strategy aligns with the local business plan and strengthens our market share.


responsibilities

* ensure appropriate development strategy is defined for the assigned customer portfolio
* support sales management in providing accurate forecasts, budgets and targets
* cultivate strong customer relationships securing their commitment
* provide the full coromant offer by coordinating specialist support, technical sales team members or external partners as required
* provide customer with cvf within the assigned customer portfolio to highlight value added
* review results and proactively develop corrective actions to secure delivery of the lbp
* maintain existing market shares and hunt for new opportunities within the customer portfolio
* provide accurate and timely market information regarding customers and competitors


way of working

* engage appropriate internal stakeholder teams to offer total solutions that fit customer needs now and forward
* secure project work for customers and engage company resources into a project team
* build basic product and services knowledge and deep knowledge of customer business
* ensure pre-meeting plans and preparations before each customer visit to secure efficient negotiation results
* ensure global and local pricing strategies are executed within all sales activities; act as liaison between customers and company departments
* promote sandvik coromant total value chain offer and competitive advantages; maintain customer commitments for long-term partnerships; comply with quality management system and sales & marketing playbook
* takes responsibility and ensures high-quality performance of job duties


other key responsibilities

* ensure high quality and latest updates of data and information on all sales activities in crm (dynamics) within the assigned portfolio
* follow internal rules and regulations; timely processing of internal documents
* continuously improve knowledge of the sandvik coromant offer, production quality, new tools and technologies
* develop professional knowledge through company-provided training and personal initiative
* carry out other requests from company management related to company activity


your profile

* five or more years of experience in sales with engineering cutting tools skills and knowledge
* degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or related field
* proven track record in delivering good business results
* project management knowledge and experience is a must
* successful experience negotiating commercial terms with industrial customers
* knowledge and experience in managing external and internal customer relationships
* must possess a current driver’s license valid for the state of primary residence

* proactively driving sales and other business activities with industrial customers
* effectively manage customer requests and business issues within a complex, global matrix organization
* ability to build customer relationships and secure service excellence through understanding customer pain points
* selling higher, considering regional cultural aspects and selling the total offer to different stakeholders
* ability to present and negotiate commercial terms and conditions
* ability to set up and communicate business targets and plans
* ability to perform mathematical calculations applicable to product applications and sales statistics; analyze and balance main kpis
* ability to use office 365 tools in daily work
* strong execution capabilities; able to create synergy, collaborate and gain commitment
* estimated overnight travel of 10% will vary based on business needs
