we seek a highly organized and detail-oriented remote professional / virtual assistant with exceptional written english skills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and financial tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliation. Strong communication skills are essential, and additional experience in tax preparation, property management accounting, collections, or financial analysis will be considered a significant plus.
tasks and responsibilities
* prepare and present the company's financial statements, as well as review and highlight any variations compared to previous periods.
* ensure the preparation of mandatory reports required by law related to tax payments.
* record and balance accounting entries and weekly payment transactions with banks.
* prepare and issue invoices for services provided by the brands, under the approval of the direct supervisor, as well as manage collection processes.
* process payments to suppliers with the approval of the direct supervisor (checks, online banking, transfers, etc.).
* maintain records of tangible and intangible asset insurance (fire, liability, equipment insurance, among others).
* coordinate audits and act as the liaison with external auditors.
* keep fixed asset and depreciation reports up to date.
* prepare collection management reports (payments made, outstanding balances, etc.) and other reports upon request.
qualifications:
* degree in accounting
* proven experience in accounting roles
* excellent written and verbal communication skills in english
* strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* familiarity with microsoft office, google workspace, and other digital tools
* experience in one or more of the following areas is :
* finance or bookkeeping
* property management
* collections
* sales support or marketing
* professional certifications in any of the above areas are an advantage

* the whole hiring process must be held from the computer you will be applying from
* laptop or desktop computer you'd use to work, ensuring that it has a working camera.
* your device must have at least 8gb of ram and run on an intel core i3 processor (4th generation) or higher. Additionally, it should be operating on windows 10 or higher, or macos 13 or higher.
* you must have an internet connection of at least 20 mb download and 5 mb upload.
* you must have an enabled antivirus on your computer.
