you will report to regional/corporate finance leadership.this role is based in irapuato, mexico, with regional responsibility across mexico and central america (including panama).

the members of our team are located across mexico, central america, and global finance hubs.responsibilitieslead and oversee accounting and tax operations across mexico and central america.ensure compliance with ifrs, local tax regulations, and internal policies.manage and coordinate external and internal audit processes.oversee the accurate use of erp systems (sap) and reporting tools.drive financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.identify and manage financial and tax risks, including transfer pricing and cash flow optimization.provide timely and relevant financial insights to support business decisions.collaborate with corporate and local teams to align financial practices.lead continuous improvement initiatives, including leveraging ai and digital tools.qualificationsbachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.experience in accounting and tax with international exposure.strong knowledge of ifrs and regional tax regulations (mexico and panama).
