* oversee and manage all aspects of security operations - keep management informed immediately, in real time, of all problems, issues, concerns. Communication is required and expected to be prompt and timely. No exceptions. - develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs
* coordinate with other departments to ensure a secure working environment
* lead investigations into security incidents
* ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards
* develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety of the company's employees, assets, and facilities.
* oversee the security operations team and provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
* conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to mitigate potential threats.
* collaborate with management and other departments to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
* monitor security systems and respond to incidents and emergencies as needed.
* stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in security technology to improve the company's security posture.
* managing a team of security personnel comprising both internal and external personnel.
* conducting investigations and assessments on security threats and risks within and outside the organization.
requerimientos
* the security manager must have a degree in security administration, criminal law or industrial security related
* fields. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in security and administration, preferably in leadership roles.
* the position requires integrity, intelligence, experience and dedication.
* the security manager must also have a comprehensive understanding of security policies, regulations, and best practices in the industry. Working knowledge of security programs, systems, procedures and techniques;
* this includes knowledge of or the ability to research related legislation/regulation. Demonstrated
* ability to solve problems and be proactive.
* management skills and can also operate as a team player.
* project management.
* bilingual (english/spanish) advanced.
