Job description
the digital product content specialist is tasked with managing and assuring the quality of both existing and new product content within the product information management (pim) system. This position plays a key role in supporting business initiatives and projects related to product information management by upholding data integrity and maintaining a well‑organized content hierarchy.
job duties
* oversee management of product content for country‑specific websites, including digital assets (images, videos, supporting documentation), product titles, marketing descriptions, technical specifications, and other pertinent information, ensuring optimal ingestion of data into the pim portal.
* provide support for new product induction and ongoing maintenance, guaranteeing that each launch features thorough, top‑quality content from the start.
* support data cleanup projects to maintain data integrity and adherence to established data standards and business rules.
* provide comprehensive product exports to digital teams to facilitate online marketing projects.
* maintain active pim tool, ai configurations, rules, and workflows.
* collaborate with suppliers via supplier pim portal to ensure accuracy and currency of website data.
* partner with external/third‑party companies to ingest product content.
* actively monitor data quality, ensuring information is in optimal state for websites.
* assist with integration of the pim system with inbound and outbound systems.
* identify and recommend opportunities to leverage the pim system for process improvement, enhanced data governance, and increased operational efficiency.
* collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and digital teams to implement updates and ensure data accuracy within the pim system.
* perform additional tasks and special projects as required.
requirements
* 1–3 years of experience in data cleansing, data architecture, data modeling, and taxonomy/schema design.
* 1–3 years of experience working with master data management (mdm), pim, erp, or comparable relational database platforms such as akeneo, enterworks, sap mdg, riversand, inriver, salsify, informatica, and others.
* advanced proficiency in microsoft excel.
* familiarity with sql, python, and snowflake.
* proficient in english, with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

* experience in marketing and/or analytical disciplines.
* excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
* robust experience with marketing programs, tools, and systems.
* excellent business writing, editing, and presentation skills.
* prior experience working with customers and contract teams.
