this role is essential in ensuring compliance with labor regulations and strengthening employee and union relations, while fostering a collaborative, fair, and productive work environment aligned with the organization's strategic goals.key responsibilities:ensure compliance with current labor laws and internal hr policies, promoting fair and lawful labor practices.manage all labor relations matters, including union negotiations, conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and labor inspections or audits.represent the company before labor authorities and government institutions regarding legal and administrative matters.support the implementation and continuous improvement of hr policies aligned with organizational values and culture.collaborate in core hr processes such as personnel administration, organizational development, training, and workplace climate.monitor labor relations indicators and develop strategies for conflict prevention and resolution.maintain strong, professional relationships with union representatives to promote constructive dialogue and mutual trust.qualifications:bachelor's degree in organizational psychology, business administration, or a related field.minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.solid knowledge of mexican labor legislation and union processes.proven ability to manage labor relations in unionized environments.strong compliance orientation and ability to work under pressure.excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.proficiency in microsoft office and hr management systems.preferred qualifications:advanced english is a must.familiarity with iatf 16949.experience with labor audits or labor compliance certifications.
