role summary
lead digital engineering transformation workstreams for industrial clients, with a focus on plm delivery and digital engineering technologies (cad/cam/cae), ebom/mbom integration, and digital thread enablement. You will support client positioning and proposal development, and ensure successful delivery of complex programs that drive outcomes in cost, time-to-market, quality, and traceability.
key responsibilities delivery leadership
* lead plm implementations and enhancements (e.g., siemens teamcenter, dassault 3dexperience, ptc windchill, aras, sap plm) and support integration with erp, mes, and engineering toolchains.
* drive the functional/process blueprint for engineering (part/bom management, document/spec management, engineering change, release workflows, supplier collaboration).
* support ebom–mbom alignment and digital thread traceability, including data governance and quality practices.
* facilitate workshops with client teams to align business needs with platform capabilities and industry practices.
proposals & client engagement
* support discovery and value shaping: identify pain points, define use cases, and contribute to roadmaps and solution approaches.
* contribute to proposals: value proposition, approach, estimates, staffing model, and delivery plan.
* present solutions to senior stakeholders; support scope clarification and negotiation activities.
* build trusted relationships across engineering, r&d, manufacturing, and it to enable account growth.
practice contribution
* create reusable content and accelerators around plm enablement, integrated bom, engineering/product data, and workflow automation.
* contribute to povs, demos, and knowledge sharing; participate as a speaker in internal forums as needed.
* apply standard methods and templates to improve delivery quality and speed‐to‐value.
people leadership
* lead and mentor project teams; provide coaching, feedback, and support performance management for team members.
* support recruiting and capability building in plm and engineering processes; mentor managers/consultants.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, mechatronics, aerospace, or related).
* experience delivering plm programs and engineering process transformation (at least one end‐to‐end implementation preferred).
* working knowledge of engineering/product processes: design, release, change management, product structures, simulation/prototyping, supplier collaboration.
* familiarity with cad/cax ecosystems and digital engineering (cad/cam/cae); ability to translate workflows into solution configurations.
* stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
* fluent english.
preferred qualifications
* exposure to cloud deployments and modern integration patterns (apis, middleware).
* experience supporting data governance/mdm initiatives in engineering/product domains.
* certifications (plm vendor, agile, pmp/prince2) are a plus.
* experience supporting rfps and commercial shaping.
core competencies domain & functional expertise
* plm enablement, ebom/mbom, digital thread, engineering change management, document/product structure management.
* engineering process design and operating model elements (roles, kpis, governance).
delivery & leadership
* workstream leadership, prioritization, and risk management in complex programs.
* team leadership in multicultural environments; coaching and collaboration.
presence
* clear storytelling, public speaking, workshop facilitation, and objection handling.
* collaboration and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
