the role of an autonomous production unit (uap) manager is multifaceted, encompassing the effective management of the uap team's operations and hr-related issues.
1. key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to production plans and group standard processes, as well as verifying the feasibility of these plans.
2. achieving financial targets is also crucial, involving tasks such as budget preparation and presentation, actual production cost management based on "ideal" costs, product margin maintenance, and monitoring serial productivity (labor level, material consumption, etc.).
3. another vital aspect is team management, encompassing tasks like staffing, maintaining a safe working environment in line with group health, safety & environment (hse) standards, identifying and addressing training needs, fostering transparency, participating in career development initiatives, etc.
4. serving as the official plant representative to the customer involves meeting established customer specifications regarding cycle time, delivery, quality, quantity, and costs, implementing preventative and corrective measures within the production process to ensure customer demands are met, and coordinating with the client's quality team to meet all customer standards.
5. action plans are implemented to enhance functionality/productivity and achieve program and group objectives, requiring necessary corrective adjustments.
6. production system efficiency (pse) projects are also involved, necessitating participation in their creation.
7. coordinating resource planning with industrial engineering department concerning stocks, equipment, staffing, activities, etc., is another critical function.

key qualifications for this position include:
* a master's degree in engineering with a focus on production
* no less than 5 years of experience in production
* 3-5 years of experience in team management
* practical knowledge of production methods (kanban, 5s, hoshin, tpm, gpao)
* at least bilingual (english required)
