This role is responsible for supporting the planning, development, execution, and optimization of u.s. marketing initiatives across the biosimilar and specialty portfolio. The marketing manager partners closely with product brand leads, the director of portfolio marketing, and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of tactics, adherence to compliance standards, and continued improvement of marketing operations and tools.
the marketing manager will contribute to harmonizing marketing workflows across business units, managing content through internal review systems, enabling martech capabilities, coordinating portfolio‑level campaigns, and ensuring consistent implementation of one sandoz branding.
major accountabilities / your key responsibilities
* portfolio & specialty marketing support
* support the development and execution of portfolio‑level marketing tactics that align with u.s. biosimilar and specialty strategy.
* assist in coordinating cross‑brand initiatives, including unbranded disease education, biosimilar market shaping content, access messaging, and strategic pull‑through activities.
* partner with director and brand leads to prioritize, resource, and track portfolio marketing projects.
* campaign execution & process management
* lead day‑to‑day execution of marketing deliverables, including creative development, prc submission support, and budget tracking.
* own project briefs, timelines, internal coordination, and vendor communication to ensure compliant and timely launch of assets.
* maintain alignment to sandoz marketing processes and support harmonized workflow improvements across brands and business units.
* marketing technology, tools & systems
* serve as point‑of‑contact and functional partner for u.s. Martech tools (e.g., veeva promomats, scout, pitcher).
* support onboarding, training, and troubleshooting for commercial teams to enhance efficiency and effective use of the technology stack.
* collaborate with digital and it teams to ensure marketing tools meet business requirements and support campaign optimization.
* cross‑functional collaboration
* work closely with regulatory, legal, medical affairs, market access, and commercial operations to support compliant execution of u.s. marketing initiatives.
* ensure consistent execution of global and local brand strategies by partnering across global marketing and u.s. franchise teams.
* assist in preparation of qbr inputs, business planning, forecasting deliverables, and internal leadership updates.
* operational excellence & continuous improvement
* identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance campaign operations, and improve marketing performance.
* support the director in driving adoption of best‑in‑class marketing processes and governance.
* monitor insights, performance metrics, and campaign analytics to support optimization recommendations.

* experience in campaign development, asset routing, and commercial review processes in a regulated environment.

* ability to translate brand and portfolio strategy into coordinated execution plans.
* understanding of pharmaceutical marketing dynamics preferred (biosimilars experience a plus).
required qualifications
education & experience (required):
* ba / bs required; marketing or business administration concentration preferred.
* 5 years experience working in marketing or commercial preferred, pharmaceutical experience required.
