as a s*upply chain management intern* here at honeywell building automation (ba) in the americas region, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the success of our business. You will work closely with our supply chain team to facilitate various aspects of the supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning. This internship/entry-level role will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, allowing you to develop your skills and make a meaningful impact on our operations.
you will report directly to our supply chain manager and work out of our americas headquarters located in 1. This position offers a 2 work schedule, providing flexibility and a balance between in-person and remote work.
in this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- review and monitor purchase requisitions
- manage supplier communication
- understand market trends
- deal with invoice discrepancies
- assist in managing inventory levels and optimizing inventory turnover.
- work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the supply chain.
*you must have*
- recently graduated or studying last semester of bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, international relations, or a related field.
- advanced english skills
- strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills.
- excellent communication and people-oriented skills.
- proficiency in microsoft office suite, particularly excel.
