key responsibilities
* apply a thorough understanding of security and resilience to operationally support the business continuity and incident management cycles: analysis, planning, documentation, approval, implementation, maintenance, exercise, and training to ensure the firm’s ability to withstand and recover from disruptive events.
* ensure execution of the policies, procedures, and initiatives that support the firm's enterprise resilience objectives, align with industry standards and leading practices, and support governance activities such as resilience metrics, compliance tracking, and reporting.
* lead small projects or engagements, managing deadlines and expectations to ensure timely and high-quality task completion.
* utilize enterprise resilience tools and technologies to drive program goals, key indicators, and continuous improvement efforts.
* foster relationships with stakeholders to integrate enterprise resilience into business processes and decision-making.
* coach and mentor junior staff, managing and reviewing their work products, and contribute to planning and resource deployment, with potential responsibility for a small to mid-sized team.
required qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or related field.
* 5-8 years of experience in business continuity, incident/crisis management, and it disaster recovery standards and practices.
* demonstrated success managing complex projects and initiatives across multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
* strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of management.
* professional certifications (e.g., cbcp, mbci, cem, psp, cbci) strongly preferred; familiarity with iso 22301 and nist sp 800-34 is a plus.
* proficiency with resilience tools, data analysis, and visualization platforms to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
