Responsibilities and qualifications
* bachelor of science degree in structural engineering (ms preferred).
* minimum 5 years of structural design analysis with aluminum and steel structures.
* must be a self-starter, with demonstrated autonomy, able to handle unexpected events and take advantage of opportunities to achieve results to meet and exceed expectations.
* must perform as a flexible team member and be a proficient leader and developer of technical people.
* must be able to communicate with employees at all levels in the organization.
* excellent verbal and written communications.
* root cause analysis.
* working knowledge of finite element analysis and related software.
* proficient in excel, word and powerpoint, autocad, autodesk inventor or solidworks.
* proficient with structural design analysis programs; risa-3d, sap2000, staad…etc.
* high knowledge of us building codes and design manuals.
* high experience working with latest autocad and microsoft office packages.
* excellent problem solving and time management skills.
* ability to work with multiple projects and flexible to change tasks with short time notice.
* excellent communication and leadership skills.
* coordinate product shop drawings, manufacturing, installation, support, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements.
* generate autocad details based on conceptual sketches or develop custom designs to meet the needs of customers.
* assumes additional related responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.
