Inventory control manager job summary
this position oversees the day-to-day operations of a fulfillment center, including managing relationships with logistics service providers and implementing systems to improve work execution. It involves distributing tasks, developing operational reports, negotiating with commercial areas, and implementing policies and rules.
key responsibilities:
* ensure warehouse operations meet company standards for safety, quality, productivity, and compliance.
* monitor logistic costs and payment processes according to contract terms.
* oversee daily operations, address day-to-day issues, and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
* manage logistics service providers and strengthen collaboration with functions such as customer collaboration, transportation, demand planning, and order to invoice.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or business administration.
* at least 5 years of experience managing warehousing processes and/or logistics management.
* excellent level of bilingual spanish - english communication skills.
