we are seeking a skilled food and beverage team member to join our team in the st. Regis punta mita resort, mexico. As a member of our dynamic food and beverage team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services.
key responsibilities:
* communicate with chefs and stewards throughout functions to ensure seamless service delivery
* process total charges for group functions and prepare checks for payment
* ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service
* inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use
* check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
* set tables according to type of event and service standards
* communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
* maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
requirements:
* high school diploma or equivalent required
* previous experience in food and beverage operations an asset
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
