*responsibilites*:
the project quality engineer will be responsible for activities related to quality in scope of new models or launch.
- participate in initial launch meetings to review drawings and internal and final customer specifications.
- complete documentation & phased launch activities, from nomination stage to start of mass production.
- evaluation/review of engineering documentation: control plan, pfmea, flow chart in the prototype and pre-production stage.
- creation and follow-up of ppap/cpm for approval of new models with final client.
- tracking and obtaining appearance approval (aar) for finished product.
- evaluation and approval of first pieces of injection molds.
- follow-up and response to customer complaints (when applicable) in the stage of new models.
- coordination and support for evaluation & release of final parts before shipment in stages of new models.
- establish and evaluate production line controls in stages of new models.
- management of customer portals (when applicable).
- lead activities for control, monitoring and reduction of scrap in stages of new models.
- set station and 200%/safe launch/gp12 controls for new models.
- work with general team of new models for launch delivery to mass production team.

automotive experience (desirable, not mandatory).

*additional information*:
the project quality engineer must occasionally travel inside or outside the country to attend meetings or customer requirements.
