you support our team leading and executing purchasing strategies for direct and indirect materials, supplies, and services required for plant operations. Ensure continuity of supply, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and adherence to corporate policies, contributing to operational excellence and business profitability.
responsibilities
* key responsibilities
* strategic sourcing & procurement
* define and implement sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials business and supply chain objectives in alignment with the respective global segment lead.
* lead commercial negotiations with domestic suppliers to secure optimal cost, quality, service conditions and conclude contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* monitor market dynamics, cost drivers, and supply risks to support informed purchasing decisions.
* develop, manage, and maintain purchasing forecasts; oversee inventory levels, including excess and obsolete materials (slobs).
* supplier management
* evaluate, select, develop, and maintain a qualified supplier base.
* monitor supplier performance against contractual, quality, delivery, and service requirements.
* drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance performance and reduce risk.
* financial & budget management
* prepare, manage, and control the purchasing budget.
* deliver cost savings and productivity initiatives in line with annual targets.
* ensure governance of purchase orders issued by multiple departments, including compliance with quotation and approval requirements.

qualifications
* professional experience and education
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, international trade, or related field.
* minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or sourcing roles, preferably within manufacturing or consumer goods environments.
* specific knowledge
* advanced negotiation and contract management skills.
* strategic planning and analytical decision-making.
* strong leadership and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
* data-driven analysis of purchasing trends and demand planning.
* proficiency in erp systems (e.g., sap, ibp, bi).
* strong command of microsoft office tools (excel, word, etc.).
