starmaker local operations specialist - voice room & family operations
starmaker is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and results-oriented local operations specialist to manage and enhance our core social features, specifically voice rooms and family. This role is crucial for driving user engagement, ensuring a high-quality community environment, and coordinating efforts with our global users.
responsibilities
* voice room operations: plan, organize, and execute engaging online activities and events (e.g., themed parties, talent shows, collaborative broadcasts) within the voice room ecosystem to boost user participation and stickiness.
* family management: oversee the lifecycle and healthy development of families; define growth strategies to ensure a positive and compliant community environment.
* content & host management: identify, recruit, and train talented hosts and key users; work with them to continuously improve content quality and presentation skills.
* communication & reporting: serve as the main point of contact for the local community; collect user feedback, analyze operational data, and provide constructive reports and actionable insights to the product and global operations teams.
core requirements
* language proficiency: fluent in english (written and verbal) is mandatory, as it is the primary working language for internal and external communication.
* time zone commitment: must be able to flexibly adjust the work schedule to cooperate and align with the operational needs of the us region time zone (e.g., pacific time/eastern time) to facilitate real-time collaboration.
personality & communication
* possesses an outgoing, energetic, and proactive personality.
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences (users, hosts, and internal teams).
* event planning & execution: proven ability to plan, organize, host, and manage online events or campaigns independently, from conception through successful execution and post-event analysis.
preferred qualifications
* industry experience: previous working experience (1-3 years preferred) in social media, live streaming, gaming, or entertainment app operations, especially with community/user management.
* data analysis: basic understanding of operational metrics (e.g., dau, retention, conversion rates) and proficiency in using data to guide operational decisions.
* cultural fit: strong understanding of local internet culture, social media trends, and user preferences within the target market.
* crisis management: ability to stay calm and resourceful when handling community conflicts or operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
