Responsibilities
we are looking for a junior web developer / junior web architect focused on website migrations and website setup. A core part of our work involves taking over customers’ existing websites and migrating them into our environment with minimal downtime and clean handoff.
Requirements
web fundamentals
html, css
javascript (dom, basic debugging)
understanding how websites are hosted and delivered (domains, dns, ssl, servers)
cms & platforms
wordpress setup and migration experience (themes, plugins, exports/imports)
knowledge of common wordpress issues (permalinks, caching, plugin conflicts)
backend / website migration
working knowledge of php
familiarity migrating \"traditional\" websites (files + db)
comfortable troubleshooting errors during migrations
