Overviewthe sw integration test lead is responsible for defining the test strategy and automation activities. Managing the feature-specific test suites status ensuring test coverage and timely delivery of test results against milestones. As a technical test lead, they are the primary point of contact for testing within their feature areas. Contribute hands-on test design, automation development, and execution, focusing on complex scenarios and driving continuous test coverage improvements. Responsible for feeding to ttm organization the capabilities for the automation framework within the team's testing activities.responsibilitiesdefine and implement the end-to-end verification strategy and test plans for assigned features, covering both manual and automated testing approaches.co-define the test boundaries (with the test interface engineer), required test environment configurations, and critical test cases necessary to achieve comprehensive test coverage for features.manage the feature-specific test suite and create test runs required to support feature testing across relevant vehicle programs and defined test milestones.provide technical guidance and mentorship to sw integration test engineers on best practices for designing, coding, and maintaining automated tests.review and approve manual & automated test cases developed by the team, ensuring adherence to coding standards, requirements coverage, maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.perform hands-on test execution, including implementation & execution of automated test cases, particularly focusing on complex use cases, system-level integration scenarios, edge cases, and scenarios identified from defect analysis, ensuring the test is robust and scalable.lead technical team meetings to discuss test progress, analyze test results (manual & automated), review software defects, analyze root causes, and track software updates addressing issues.drive the continuous analysis of test gaps and lead the integration of new test coverage into the test suite based on evolving requirements, risk assessments, and defect analysis.own the technical quality and effectiveness of the automated test suite within their assigned feature scope.communicate test status, risks, and issues effectively to the test manager (if applicable), stakeholders, and development teams.integrate the core automation enablers, libraries, and tools provided by the external team into the team's test environments and workflows, understand framework updates and provide feedback, communicate team's technical needs and challenges.provide technical guidance and support to sw integration test engineers on implementing, debugging, and optimizing automated test cases using the framework.ensure the test infrastructure (provided by the sw interface engineer) and dependencies required for feature execution & automation are correctly configured, maintained, and compatible with the framework versions control.drive the effective adoption and technical utilization of the automation framework across the team's features.stay informed about software automation industry trends, emerging tools, best practices, and significant changes that could impact or enhance the team's test coverage and automation capabilities.qualificationsminimum requirementsa bachelor of science degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field of study.2+ years of experience
