the director of road service operations will lead a team of professionals responsible for ensuring maximum equipment availability while minimizing costs. This position requires excellent vendor management and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.

* manage outside maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability and minimal costs.
* deal with multiple issues simultaneously, including conflict resolution with drivers, support departments, and vendors.
* handle urgent situations in a professional manner.
* lead a team of 30 people in a call center environment to deliver exceptional customer service to drivers.
requirements
* 4-year degree or business-related field and commensurate work-related experience.
* mechanical and technical knowledge.
* transportation industry experience.
* proficient with microsoft office suite.
* broad understanding of transportation processes and standards.
