Job description
the asset manager will be responsible for overseeing a diverse logistics/industrial real estate portfolio in mexico, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This includes developing and executing asset management strategies, collaborating with third-party managers, and coordinating with the investment team to drive long-term value creation.
key responsibilities include:
* developing proactive asset management and leasing strategies, analyzing market dynamics, and managing letting operations;
* overseeing financial data from third-party managers, reviewing financial statements, budgets, and occupancy reports, and preparing portfolio performance reports;
* supporting value-add capital expenditures, refurbishments, and repositioning projects, from planning to completion;
* advising on market positioning and overseeing asset disposition, coordinating data room preparation and exit strategies with legal and advisory teams;
the ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in asset management, preferably in logistics/industrial assets in mexico. A strong background in financial analysis, including excel modeling, partnership-level returns, and capital markets processes, is also essential. Basic knowledge of permitting, building systems, construction, and contractor management is desirable.
a proficiency in yardi and argus is a plus, as well as fluency in spanish and english. The ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, think strategically, and work independently is crucial for success in this role.
