What will you do?
* assure compliance to manufacturability, assembly and electro‑mechanical guidelines in the product designs through early involvement in the product development process
* support development of manufacturing execution system (mes) and equipment specifications
* support development and execution of equipment and process qualification plans
* hands‑on execution of manufacturing prototype and pilot runs in schneider facilities, suppliers and contract manufacturers
* hands‑on involvement in design, deployment, and qualification of specified manufacturing equipment
* prepare and give input to detailed task‑driven schedule for equipment development
* actively participate in problem‑solving of manufacturing / quality issues
* investigate new technologies and solutions to prepare for review with senior engineers
what skills and capabilities will make you successful?
education / experience
* student pursuing a degree in the following:
o mechatronics engineering
o electrical engineering
technical requirements
* plc programming (ladder, function blocks, sequential function charts, structured text)
* configuring and designing hmi systems
* electronic circuit knowledge: digital, analog, power and high voltage
* autocad
* microsoft office
qualifications
* motivated self‑starter, able to work in parallel on multiple projects
* work with minimal supervision
* attention to accuracy and details
* great communication skills to align and collaborate with all functions throughout the design center
