supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of a facility.
the building supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance or repair operations are efficiently maintained, in addition to ensuring that the facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
this includes cleaning up spills, repairing broken equipment, maintaining safety standards, and other activities.

- participate in implementation of projects that positively impact quality, cost and/or cycle time.
this person knowledge of equipment and processes must be the input to propose solutions that are technically possible and that will yield in effective problem solving.
- develop maintenance plans for all the plant assets
- inspect facilities regularly to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- prepare weekly maintenance schedules and assign work
- supervise and train maintenance technicians
- coordinate and supervise professionals in installations, repairs or maintenance tasks (electricians, plumbers, etc.)
- inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation, etc.)
- contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance
- monitor the inventory of materials and equipment
- participate in project coordination (e.g., renewals)
- ensure compliance with quality standards and health and safety regulations.
