position overview
we are seeking a
business systems analyst
to join our information services shared services team. This role will support enterprise-level initiatives focused on modernizing and optimizing erp systems, manufacturing applications, collaboration tools, and business intelligence platforms across global operations.
you will act as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring that systems effectively support operational needs while aligning with global standards and strategic initiatives.
key responsibilities
* support and analyze critical business processes and existing enterprise systems.
* collaborate with business units to evaluate, implement, and optimize erp, bi, crm, and manufacturing systems.
* gather and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and data analysis.
* develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and roi evaluations for new systems or enhancements.
* manage or support global is improvement projects and system implementations.
* coordinate testing, user training, and adoption of new technologies.
* ensure best practices in security, system integration, and disaster recovery planning.
* identify opportunities for continuous improvement across systems and business processes.
* communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in mis, computer science, information systems, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in it or business systems analysis.
* experience working with erp, crm and enterprise applications.
* experience gathering requirements, developing test plans, and supporting implementations.
* strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* project management and stakeholder management experience.
* experience in multicultural or global environments.
* fluent english and spanish (spoken and written).
* strong communication and documentation skills.
* proactive, service-oriented, and collaborative mindset.

* experience in manufacturing environments.
* master's degree in business or computer science.
