about the role
as a sales engineering delivery manager, you will serve as the crucial link between prospective clients and internal teams. You will lead technical discovery sessions, consultative introduction calls, gather engagement details (timelines, budgets, skillset requirements, risks, and swot analyses) and translate insights into impactful proposals.
what you will do
* lead technical discovery calls & stakeholder engagement: assemble sales support engineering team, align on preliminary information following raci procedures; showcase interpersonal skills, build rapport and trust; demonstrate deep understanding of the sdlc.
* use consultative questioning techniques to uncover client pain points and business objectives; extract and analyze high-level requirements such as project timeline, budget, technical skill requirements, risk assessments.
* develop dynamic, visually compelling presentation decks and engagement proposals that articulate service offerings, scope, value propositions, and strategic recommendations.
* act as primary point of coordination among sales, recruiting, and engineering teams, ensuring smooth hand‑offs from engagement through team build‑out to project kickoff.
* serve as a “concierge” for deals, maintaining fluid communication and alignment across functions to drive successful client onboarding.
must have
* exceptional communication and soft skills: outstanding interpersonal abilities, strong presentation and storytelling skills.
* ux & presentation design acumen: grasp of user experience principles and design thinking, track record of creating visually engaging decks and proposals.
* technical & sdlc knowledge: deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, familiarity with agile methodologies, ability to discuss technical nuances with business impact.
* analytical & strategic thinking: strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information, identify key insights, recommend actionable strategies.
* team collaboration & cross‑functional coordination: proven ability to work across departments, manage internal communications, serve as liaison between sales, engineering, and recruiting.
* consultative sales experience: prior role in pre‑sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting, ideally within a digital software consultancy.
* english proficiency: upper intermediate level.
