Business operations analyst role overview
we are seeking a highly skilled business operations analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for calculating incentive award payments to sales personnel and manufacturer reps based on incentive plan rules and guidelines.
key responsibilities:
* perform activities needed for the development, implementation, communication, and administration of incentive programs, plans, and policies.
* calculate and validate incentive payments.
* review payment reports for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely resolution of reconciliation issues.
* communicate incentive payments to micron sales and manufacturer reps.
* analyze sales performance results, prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
* use power bi sql model/queries, power bi dashboards/reports, excel, reporting tools, and/or erp systems to gather data for payment calculation or analysis.
requirements
experience and skills
* 5+ years of experience in finance, business analysis, business operations, or similar role.
* knowledgeable in microsoft excel and/or power bi to manipulate and summarize large volumes of data using formulas, pivot tables, power pivots.
* knowledge of power bi and sql queries - ability to connect to servers, run jobs, extract, and upload data.
* excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.

* strong organization and project management skills.
