The local community and their warmth are a key component of our guest experience, and our *group sales manager* will imbue a passion for this destination and the culture.*requirements:*minimum of 5 years of luxury hotel sales experience proficient in microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, and teams proficient in golden sales & catering system knowledge and professional use of social media as a tool to support business development strong presentation skills highly developed problem-solving skills able to work effectively under pressure and handle several projects/deadlines able to multitask and prioritize workload and projects simultaneously and efficiently able to travel for client meetings, events, trade shows, which may include weekend travel.*desired skills and experience:* luxury hotel sales minimum of 5 years of luxury hotel sales experience in group corporate incentives. Identify and target group customers that will generate business on behalf of hotels but not conflict with wso efforts.* negotiate, draft, generate and confirms/signs group contracts, proposals and addendums that ensure hotels budget and revenue targets are achieved.* adjust group and recommend group concessions as needed to secure group business in support of hotels budget targets.* utilize various prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of hotel* use company-wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects, wso customer events and reporting for group business development.* follow up on all business inquiries and leads and qualify business to generate group room nights and associated food and beverage revenue to impact revpar performance.* create and execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensure maximum group revenue and budgeted group targets are achieved for the property.* achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment as outlined.* uncover potential p2p leads on behalf of sister properties and the company.* assist associate director of sales in the development of new programs and sales campaigns in an effort to obtain additional sales from the various market niches.* assist associate director of sales with the implementation, follow-through and updating of the quarterly action pricing plans.* explores new ways to increase revenue.*connect with us...join our team*work on a team that is built on mutual respect, collaboration, and focuses on excellent results.
