Job description:
we are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of human development business partner. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic guidance and support in key areas such as talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
about the role:
* be close to the business to strategize and improve business model performance by diagnosing and shaping suitable initiatives and solutions that support organizational aims
* propose alternative solutions to address organizational capabilities gaps identified - strategy, process, structure, and support systems
* design change plans to lessen expected impacts, empower desired results, expedite related projects execution, and drive success of change across functions
* key advisor to business on people matters and directly responsible for talent development/bench strength in his/her function
* lead support in implementing hd initiatives across his/her organization in partnership with business leaders on topics such as reward, talent, performance, leadership, and learning & development
* challenge and coach business leaders on effectively managing employee relations and personnel issues arising
* coordinate management of relationships with all representative bodies in the region and site (unions, work councils, local authorities, and chambers)
* coach and develop leadership team of assigned function with objective of building high-performance team
* foster partnerships across hd function to facilitate and improve delivery of value-added services to management and employees
* perform hdbp role according to hd service delivery model
* effectively coordinate efforts of direct reports and provide mentorship to less experienced hd professionals
requirements:
* bachelor degree
* at least 8 years of experience as site hdbp
* experience as hd generalist
* experience as hd strategic advisor
* experience managing budget and talent planning
skills and qualifications:
the ideal candidate should possess strong business sense, active listening skills, leadership abilities, strategic thinking, consultant skills, and fluent english language proficiency.
