the sr. Test analyst role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of etl tool application testing and gcp bigquery processes. With a focus on day shifts and work from office model the candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing data integrity and optimizing testing methodologies. This position requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant fields.
this position is onsite 5 times a week on our guadalajara offices.
responsibilities
* conduct comprehensive testing of etl tool applications to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
* collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues in data processing workflows.
* design and implement test cases for gcp bigquery to validate data transformations and storage solutions.
* analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
* utilize advanced testing techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data validation processes.
* monitor and maintain testing environments to ensure consistency and reliability across all projects.
* develop automated testing scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance productivity.
* work closely with project managers to align testing strategies with business objectives and timelines.
* provide insights and recommendations for optimizing etl processes based on test findings.
* ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all testing activities.
* support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in testing methodologies.
* facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and innovative testing approaches.
* engage in regular communication with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
qualifications
* possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and identify discrepancies.
* demonstrate proficiency in etl tool application testing and gcp bigquery.
* have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
* exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities to address testing challenges effectively.
* show experience in developing automated testing frameworks and tools.
* strong communication skills to articulate testing results and recommendations clearly.
* hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
