Schedule: monday-friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm -must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.we offer medical, vision, dental, paid time off, paid holidays.*:the clerk will work closely with the on-site management team by maintaining day-to-day office duties.additional responsibility include on-boarding, employee relations and working closely with senior management in supporting the job sites/locations.*primary duties and responsibilities*:- provide customer service for the receipt, delivery, and dispatch of official regular and accountable mail.- provide window service for collection of official mail for dispatch.- ensure proper documentation of accountable mail transactions.- ensure correct processing of all addressed official mail.- x-ray/ion scan all incoming mail/parcels for suspicious and/or hazardous/dangerous material.- maintain accountability for postal expenditures.- process and secure all incoming and outgoing usps packages.- safeguard all government property and documentation.- ensure orderliness of areas used for offices, storage, maintenance of equipment, etc., including lobby area, loading dock, and parking area.- comply with documentation requirements in accordance with unites states postal service, u.s.
