About the role
this senior sap abap developer will collaborate with financial experts to identify complex client issues and build long-term relationships with key executives.
the ideal candidate will provide guidance on financial processes and best practices, including account reconciliations and mass journal posting templates.
additionally, they will lead business process design sessions; create functional specifications for development requirements.
responsibilities also include leading teams when applicable, delegating tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables within scope.
the successful candidate will perform initial setup, prototyping, configuration, and testing to support design sessions and meet business needs.
furthermore, they will design and document sap fs-cd configurations per the blueprint, including test documentation and go-live support.
they must also recommend best practices for sap fs-cd configuration to ensure integration, performance, and stability.
the ideal candidate will work closely with end users to design sap fs-cd solutions aligned with business processes and requirements.
finally, they will conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions to enable user adoption of sap fs-cd.
the position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in sap abap with odata, as well as a strong understanding of sap erp and the latest sap financial tools.
additional requirements include hands-on experience building api objects in segw using odata/json services, experience with cds view creation/consumption using eclipse and hana studio, and proficiency in handling large data volumes using parallel processing, mass activities, and performance tuning.
