the role
you'll own three critical distribution channels: community, partnerships, and pr. You'll build and nurture a community of users and fans around sero labs, close strategic partnerships that multiply our reach, and manage our public presence through media outreach and product launches. This is a wide role that requires someone who can prioritize ruthlessly and switch between writing a cold partnership email and moderating a discord thread in the same hour.
what you'll do
* build and manage the sero labs community (discord, forums, or platform of choice)
* grow and engage the community through events, amas, exclusive content, and feedback loops
* own newsletter strategy and execution (growth, content, and engagement)
* identify and close strategic partnerships: co-marketing, integrations, and distribution deals
* manage pr and media outreach (with agency support when needed)
* plan and execute product launches on product hunt, reddit, hacker news, and similar platforms
* represent sero labs at events, podcasts, and speaking opportunities
* track community health metrics, partnership pipeline, and pr coverage
what we're looking for
* 2–5 years in community management, partnerships, business development, or a hybrid role
* experience building and growing an online community from early stage
* strong cold outreach skills — you can write emails that get replies
* track record of closing partnerships or co-marketing deals
* experience launching products on product hunt or similar platforms
* excellent english writing and communication (required for international outreach)
* organized and self-directed — this role is wide, and you manage your own priorities.
nice to have
* experience with discord community management
* background in tech or startup ecosystem
* pr or media relations experience
* newsletter growth experience (beehiiv, substack, convertkit)
* existing network in the tech/startup community
* event planning or conference speaking experience.
