Position overview: the microsoft teams administratorwill manage and support the organization's microsoft teamsenvironment.
this role will be responsible for configuring andmaintaining teams policies, managing user permissions,troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support toend-users.
the ideal candidate should have experience withmicrosoft 365 and teams administration, a good understanding of itinfrastructure, and the ability to communicate technical issuesclearly.
key responsibilities: microsoft teams management: -administer and configure teams environments and settings.
- create,manage, and modify teams channels, groups, and teams settings.
-monitor teams usage and manage permissions and security.
- manageteams apps, bots, and integrations within the environment.
usermanagement: - add, remove, and configure users and groups.
- assignroles and permissions in teams.
- provide user support forteams-related issues.
- ensure user adoption of teams features andprovide training when necessary.
configuration & policymanagement: - define and implement teams policies for meetings,messaging, and collaboration.
- configure security settings andcompliance policies in teams.
- manage teams governance and ensureadherence to organizational standards.
troubleshooting &support: - troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related toteams, such as connectivity, access, and functionality.
-collaborate with it teams to resolve system-wide issues.
- monitorand manage teams' performance and ensure reliable operation.collaboration & reporting: - work with business and technicalteams to understand collaboration requirements.
- generate reportson teams usage, activities, and compliance.
- assist in preparingand maintaining documentation and guides for users.
stay updated: -stay informed of the latest microsoft teams features, updates, andbest practices.
- participate in microsoft training andcertifications to improve skills and knowledge.
required skills: -strong experience with microsoft teams and microsoft 365administration.
- knowledge of azure active directory, sharepoint,and exchange online.
- familiarity with powershell scripting forteams management.
- strong troubleshooting and problem-solvingskills.
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
-certifications such as microsoft certified: teams administratorassociate are a plus.
good to have skills: - experience withmicrosoft 365 security and compliance center.
- familiarity withitil or other it service management frameworks.
- experience withhybrid or cloud environments.
