key responsibilities:
* lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the plant.
* monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including cost of goods sold (cogs), production variances, and operational efficiencies.
* develop and implement effective cost control measures to optimize production costs and improve profitability.
* oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
* prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting performance, trends, and actionable insights.
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* proven experience as a plant controller or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* fluency in english; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
