comcast nbcuniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('versant') comprised of most of nbcuniversal's cable television networks, including usa network, cnbc, msnbc, oxygen, e!, syfy, and golf channel along with digital assets like fandango, rotten tomatoes, golfnow, golfpass, and sportsengine. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
responsibilities
1. integrate payroll employee requests such as new hires, terminations, vacations, and housing support loans following established procedures.
2. analyze overtime reports from camera and editor teams, including days off and holidays, to ensure compliance and efficiency.
3. support overtime and hours worked analysis to comply with mexican labor regulations.
4. manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including updating employee information in the hr system.
5. coordinate employee and relative information sharing with willis towers watson for insurance plans and explain benefits programs for new enrollments and terminations.
6. maintain employee files, both digital and physical, ensuring completeness for audits.
7. monitor work schedules and contract compliance for producers and correspondents.
8. support employee survey initiatives and follow up on action plans.
9. prepare hr metrics reports such as turnover, diversity, satisfaction, and organizational charts.
10. assist in recruitment and performance review processes, managing communications and records.
11. manage annual profit-sharing payments.
12. provide support and communication to remote employees to ensure their inclusion.
13. handle hr administrative tasks, including liaising with suppliers and managing budgets.
14. promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company policies and values, maintaining confidentiality.
qualifications
basic requirements:
* bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or accounting.
* at least 5 years of experience as an hr generalist with strong analytical skills.
* advanced english proficiency.
