*your responsibilities will include but not limited to*:
- design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient build and release pipelines.
- automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- collaborate with development, qa, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
- monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- maintain and improve ci/cd tools and infrastructure, including jenkins, git, docker, kubernetes, etc.
- develop and enforce best practices for version control, branching, and merging strategies.
- ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the build and release processes.
- provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the build and release processes.
- advanced communication and collaboration skills.
- willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- strong problem-solving skills, willing to troubleshoot complex build and deployment issues.
*qualifications*:* minimum qualifications,* are required to be initially considered for this position:
- bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in build and release engineering, devops, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ci/cd tools such as jenkins, gitlab ci, circle ci, or similar.
- 3+ years of experience in scripting languages such as python, bash, or groovy.
- 1+ years of experience working with buiild automation tools such as make, cmake, ant, maven, gradle or similar.
- intermediate to advanced english level.
- the position is in mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.
- master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience working with version control systems, particularly git.
- strong understanding of linux operating systema, including shell scripting and command-line tools.
- experience with infrastructure as code (iac) tools like terraform or ansible.
- knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as prometheus, grafana, elk stack, etc.
- familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.
- experience with cloud platforms such as aws, azure, or google cloud.
