Machine development supervisor
what you’ll do
* lead the development and standardization of manufacturing equipment for steering wheel production, defining specifications for operation, safety, ergonomics, performance, and maintenance to ensure efficient and reliable processes.
* drive automation and technology integration, implementing new automated concepts and solutions aligned with the aam automation roadmap to enhance quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
* collaborate with global teams and suppliers, aligning with the steering wheel product line and aam product family team to prioritize automation opportunities, establish equipment standards, and ensure effective supplier selection and project delivery.
what is required
* education: bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, or a related field
* experience: minimum of 5 years in manufacturing and machinery design, with at least 2 years of experience in machinery assembly processes and project management.
* technical knowledge: familiarity with lean manufacturing philosophy, basic knowledge of six sigma, tpm, mp, 5s, spc, and project management methodologies (preferred).
